Guest speaker at ALFED's Annual Dinner on 12 November - former political correspondent, writer and television personality John Sargeant - has hit the headlines after agreeing to take part in the new series of BBC Television's 'Strictly Come Dancing' programme!

In addition to his dancing lessons, John is appearing regularly on BBC Television's 'The One Show' and other television and radio programmes.

He also shares a keen interest in sailing with ALFED's Secretary General, Will Savage, who recently had an unscheduled nautical meeting with John on a Cornish river!
